ABOUT
Sound designer and composer with a strong foundation in audio post-production, working across audiovisual media, performing arts, and multimedia projects. Throughout his career, he has crafted original soundscapes and musical scores for short films, documentaries, artistic installations, and theatrical productions — work defined by artistic sensitivity and meticulous technical precision.
As a sound designer, film composer, and mixer, his work has been featured on platforms such as Netflix, Paramount+, HBO, and Al Jazeera, and has screened at prestigious international film festivals around the world.
In theater, Raúl has collaborated as a sound designer on numerous productions in Madrid. His recent credits include Noticias Locales (Asociación de Mujeres en las Artes Escénicas de Madrid, Sociedad Cervantina, 2025), To Play or Not to Play (Galería Casa Madre, 2024), and Antígona: Busca del Otro Lado del Atlántico (Umbral de Primavera, 2024). He has also designed sound for No he venido a traer el odio sino el amor and Atemporal (Nave 73, Dramactual), as well as several university productions at UC3M: ¿Cómo te tengo que llamar?, Conversión, and Regresa, Mayela.
Raúl has collaborated with institutions such as CONARTE and the Ministry of Culture of Nuevo León, coordinating cultural projects that integrated community engagement strategies and the promotion of contemporary art.
In academia, he is a faculty member at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he teaches in the Technology and Music Production program. He has designed and implemented curricula in audio for video games, sound design, audio post-production, and audio programming — contributing to the training of skilled professionals in digital audio. His interdisciplinary approach bridges creativity, cultural management, and technology, fostering environments of innovation and learning.
